Bio

I joined the faculty of the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho in 2014 as the Assistant Professor of Clarinet, Alexander Technique, and Entrepreneurship. I am currently the Co-Director of the Stetson University Clarinet Clinic, resident Alexander Technique teacher for the Eastern Music Festival, and Co-Director of Training at Inter-Mountain Alexander Training. As an advocate for new music, I am a founding member of TOSCA DUO, Hammers & Reeds Trio, and Relevents Wind Quintet. I earned my DMA and MM degrees from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and my BM from Stetson University in 1999. I am a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and a Licensed Andover Educator. I studied clarinet with Kelly Burke, Lynn Musco, and Frank Kowalsky, and Alexander Technique with Marsha Paludan, Bill Conable, Glenna Batson, Sarah Barker, Robin Gilmore, and Dale Beaver.

I am a Performing Artist and Clinician for Buffet Crampon, USA, the Silverstein Group, and Gonzalez Reeds.
