He is undoubtedly the number one saxophonist and a jazz icon on the Korean jazz scene.
Beyond his mother land, he not only formed the band ‘Dragons’ in Japan with the top leveled Japanese jazz trumpeter Hino Terumasa, but also made the album ‘In New York’ in collaboration with the legendary jazz musicians Kenny Barron and Ron Carter.
As the first Korean artist, he participated in ‘Fuji Mt. jazz festival’ as well as ‘solo concert in Blue Note’. His effort to diverse his musicality goes on and he strives to reveal something new ranging from mainstream jazz to pop fusion and free jazz.
