Born in Sabará/MG, he began his studies in 2000 at the Sociedade Musical São Sebastião/Sabara, in 2021 he obtained a master’s degree in interpretation/clarinet from the University of Évora/Portugal, in 2006 he obtained a bachelor’s degree in clarinet from the State University of Minas Gerais.
He is a clarinetist for the “Paraíba Symphony Orchestra”, teacher at the José Siqueira Paraíba conservatory, “MarcaReeds” Palhetas Artist, “Pro Team Silvertein” ligature Artist.
He was the winner of the Minas Gerais State University Symphony Orchestra competition and winner of the IX Young Musician BDMG, winner with the Amares band of the Benavente Philharmonic Bands competition/Spain as best interpretation of the confrontational work, best band and best band for the public.
He coordinated a master class with clarinetist Yuan Gao/China; Coordinator of the Instituto Orquestra Sabará, Coordinator of the Project “New Directions of the Banda Lira da Paz/Sabará/MG.
As a clarinetist, he performed with the Opus Orchestra, performing alongside artists such as: Fafá de Belém, Milton Nascimento, Daniela Mércure and Flavio Venturini; Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, ESMU/UEMG Symphony Orchestra, Clarinetist with the Nova Lima School Music Orchestra, on tour with the Giramundo Puppet Theater Group, with the work Carnaval do Animais. ESMU/UEMG Symphony Band; UFMG Symphony Band; March 12 Symphony Band; Our Lady of Carmo Band/Betim; August 5 Municipal Band/João Pessoa, Amares Philharmonic Band/Braga/PT, Euterpe Philharmonic Band/Portalegre/PT, Mourense Philharmonic Band/Mourão/PT, Safarense Artistic Musical Circle Philharmonic Band/Safara/PT, Abdon Felinto Milânez-Areia Band/PB.
He was a soloist with the Paraíba Symphony Orchestra/BR, Del Chaco Symphony Orchestra/AR, João Pessoa Municipal Symphony Orchestra/PB, Minas Gerais Military Police Symphony Orchestra, Betim Symphony Orchestra/MG, Minas Gerais State University Symphony Orchestra, Lira da Paz Ravena Band/MG, Jose Siqueira Band of the Federal University of Paraíba.
He worked as a Clarinet Teacher at the Nova Lima School of Music, MPB Brazil School with S, volunteer teacher of perception and winds of the Sacred Hearts music course, at the Sanctuary of Saint Jude Thaddeus and Sacred Hearts Church/Padre Eustáquio-BH/MG. He taught a clarinet master class at the “Encontro de Músicos no Caraça” course at Sesc/MG, at the clarinet course promoted by the Civilian Music Bands Support Program held by the State Department of Culture/MG, at the First Summer Festival of the Santa Cecília Musical Society/Sabará/MG, the Pernambuco International Clarinet Festival, an internship for clarinet at the Castanheirense Philharmonic Band/Portugal, the Euterpe Philharmonic Band of Portalegre/Portugal, and the XIV Brazilian Clarinetists’ Meeting/Brasilia. He performed recitals at the Belém/Pará International Clarinetists’ Meeting, the Potiguar Clarinetists’ Meeting/RN, the Pernambuco Clarinetists’ Meeting, the Tenerife ClarinetFest, and the XIV Brazilian Clarinetists’ Meeting/Brasilia. He worked as a conductor at the Santa Lúcia Musical and Cultural Society / Sabará and at the Retreta Lira de Santo Antônio / Conceição do Mato Dentro / MG. Clarinetist for the recording of the CD by Família Moura (Valsa and Choro) and the recording of the CD by Funicando (Valsa and Choro), a lullaby CD by the great soprano Maria Lucia Godoy. Creator of the YouTube channel “Clarinete Simples Assim” developing a clarinet lesson program, helping those who do not have access to a teacher.
