Secure articulation and intonation
Stable regardless of temperature, humidity or altitude
Absorbs and retains water for harmonic coherence

Never splinters, no micro cracks
Pairs to your embouchure like cane.
14-day “No Hassle” Product Purchase Guarantee
Expected lifetime of the PERTO model is 12 months with proper care including;
- Do not bite too strong. If you do so, choose MM or MH and scrape the tip down, instead of MS.
- Rinse with clean water and dry after playing to prevent saliva plaque (Mouthwash may be used).
- If you are a heavy user, we recommend you to rotate between two reeds. 24 hours resting will fully rejuvenate the reed.
Purchase with confidence! Your purchase is guaranteed for 14 days under our “No Hassle” guarantee. We will be happy to work with you to help you find the right reed for your needs.

*** Simply tie OVER the tubing with your favorite thread! If you wish to change staples, gently pull the reed off of the existing staple, and place it on one of your own choosing. Retie OVER the tube. DO NOT remove the heat shrink tubing! Doing so will void the warranty. If there are any leaks, use fish skin or para film. The tip may be customized with sandpaper, Reed geek, or knife! ***

John Price –
My impression on day 1 is very good. I chose the med soft strength. This feels comfortable. The pitch is quite stable and perhaps better than the Legere reeds I have . I also make cane reeds and use 47 mm brass staples no name. I really don’t care if the Silverstein staple is 46mm as long as the reed plays well.
The tone is quite acceptable and given the pitch stability of the reed, music making should be enjoyable and not a huge physical task.
