Born in 1977, he started his music studies at the age of 7 with the violin and at 11 he started studying the oboe.

At the age of 14, he joined the São Paulo State Youth Symphony Orchestra and, at 16, the Experimental Repertory Orchestra. He was also a member of the Paraná Symphony Orchestra, TV and Radio Cultura Orchestra, Santo André Symphony Orchestra and São Bernardo do Campo Philharmonic Orchestra, also acting as a soloist in front of these and several other musical groups.

In 2010, he took a course in wood instrument maintenance at LF, Oscar Adler and Gebrüder Mönnig factories in Berlin and Markneükirchen-Germany.

In 2014 and 2015 he was a guest teacher and soloist at Oboefest, an international oboe festival, held in Rosário-Argentina.

In 2019, he performed the world premiere of the play “Concerto for oboe and symphonic band”, by composer Ricardo Silva, a work written and dedicated to Rodrigo Nagamori.

He is currently a professor at the Baccarelli Institute, a member of the Trio de Palhetas São Paulo Ensemble, and since 2005 he has been the first solo oboe of the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo.
